Not everyone can attend my classes in person which is why I also offer online classes.

Embroidery is often seen as a crafting hobby rather than an art form of its own. This is a common misconception that I would like to alter, even if I can only alter the opinion of a few people.

I have a range of online classes, some of them are tutor led, where I am teaching you in real time and some of them are self paced classes where you work through the lessons in your own time.

All classes are held via zoom and they are recorded meaning you do not have to attend the live sessions if you cannot make it. This offers great flexibility if you do not share my UK timezone!

The recordings and supporting material are uploaded to my online learning platform Thinkific after the live zoom sessions. It is via Thinkific you can work through the project, ask me questions and share images with your fellow students.

In 2024 there have been two classes running, an advanced goldwork design that covers the following techniques.

In 2025 there are two ambitious classes running that I am excited to teach.

Firstly the stumpwork pheasant covering many canvaswork, goldwork and stumpwork techniques .

The second class for 2025 is Hooty Tooty, a complex shaded blackwork owl who I will stitch along with you.

We will explore how to shade patterns, how to adapt patterns to fit different areas and how to compensate patterns depending on the areas being embroidered.
