I graduated the Royal School of Needlework apprenticeship scheme in 2003 after 3 years of intensive training in all aspects of traditional hand embroidery.
Jen Goodwin Embroidery was born in the years to follow and I take great pride in how my brand has grown in the intervening years.
My embroidery kits are carefully curated boxes of joy containing all of the materials needed to create your chosen design. From the second I have finished designing I am planning how best to present the embroidery to you. From my choice of materials and stitch placement to the instruction diagrams and kit packaging.
I work hard to source the best materials for you to embroider with, choosing to work with all of the brands that are my personal favourites while behind the scenes I am always looking for new brands to introduce you to.
In 2023, I was honoured to be part of the Embroidery Studio team at the Royal School of Needlework who worked on a number of items for the Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla, including The Queen’s Robe of Estate, the Anointing Screen, Chairs of State and the Stole Royal.”
In 2024 the Royal School launched the fellowship. I am proud to have been accepted into the fellowship after my 20 year association with the RSN.
